April 10, 2009: Over in Discovery Island, around the Tree of Life, are my friends Oasis and Tol. I have probably photographed these Scarlet Fronted Macaws more than any other animal in Animal Kingdom. I got this shot with my first encounter with the birds off their perch. I believe this was the male, who knew he was in trouble, sitting atop the gate to his habitat. My best photos of the birds come from when they are breaking the rules. =)
